Now it gets concrete: On March 24th, the highly anticipated Redmi K30 Pro, a hot candidate for the Poco F2, will be launched in China on the international stage. For the first time, Xiaomi relies on the UFS 3.1 memory that has just started and thus achieves new highs in memory and system performance, as demonstrated by teasers.

Even higher AnTuTu results and even more storage performance: The first official teasers for the Redmi K30 Pro, which were launched by Xiaomi in the Chinese network Weibo, focus on speed. Samsung has just mass-produced its first UFS 3.1 memory modules with 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB in size – the first delivery apparently goes directly to Xiaomi, who already has the UFS 3.1 memory, which has been significantly accelerated during write operations, already in the Redmi K30 Pro will use.

750 MB / s write speed is significantly higher than with UFS 3.0, although it should be noted that UFS 3.0 memory with activated write turbo is already writing much faster than the first UFS 3.0 implementations without turbo. The reading speed of UFS 3.1 remains at the same high level as UFS 3.0, but if you write a lot of data on your phone, for example when recording 8K video in the future, you will appreciate the faster write operations that Xiaomi already has demonstrated two videos compared to an Honor V30 with UFS 3.0 storage.

Launch on March 24th
Xiaomi also demonstrates dominance at AnTuTu, but since others have already achieved higher scores, you have to say fairly. The Redmi K30 Pro also uses more energy-saving LPDDR5 RAM, together with the integrated Snapdragon 865 SoC and a probably very attractive price level, the Redmi K30 Pro could rise to the new price / performance champ when it is officially presented on March 24 in China. In Germany not only we are expecting the launch under the name Poco F2, i.e. as the direct successor to the Pocophone F1 from 2018. There was already a first teaser for the Poco F2, and yesterday the first, very hidden hands-on pictures for the Redmi appeared K30 Pro, which already confirmed pop-up cam and quad cam on the back.
