After the hands-on images and official render as well as advertising posters of the Oppo Find X2 Pro had been leaked in the last few days, details of the presumably integrated components are now appearing for the Huawei P40 and Samsung Galaxy S20 competitors from China.

The Galaxy S20 family from Samsung is one thing above all: expensive. Whether the first, sometimes rather harsh, test reports based on the test hardware supplied by Samsung, especially for the camera – some newer websites like The Verge or Engadget strike somewhat more conciliatory tones – are actually right or not, at least we wait until now on the availability of cell phones available for all, but competition from China is already underway. In particular, the Oppo Find X2 Pro or the regular Oppo Find X2, which is at least slimmed down with the zoom camera, are likely to be a cheaper alternative.

Next week, on March 6th, the flagship duo will be officially presented together with a new Oppo Smartwatch, which has well-known China-Leaker Digital Chat Station, via Weibo, and will now reveal some details about the hardware of the Pro model. As was already known by teasers, the 6.7-inch smartphone flagship will offer a WQHD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, the Leaker firstly confirms the resolution of 3,168 x 1,440 pixels and secondly the assumption that Oppo is a combined WQHD + 120 Hz mode will unlock, which is currently still prevented with the Samsung flagships.

Alternatively, Oppo is also to offer a more energy-saving FHD + 120 Hz mode, the OLED panel also comes from the Find X2 Pro from Samsung and integrates a display hole selfie cam with a 32 megapixel sensor. On the back is a triple cam made of a 48 megapixel Sony IMX689 sensor with a second high-resolution 48 megapixel Sony IMX586 cam and a 13 megapixel camera with an S5K3m5 sensor from Samsung. Both the main camera and telephoto optics are optically stabilized. Based on the Snapdragon 865 with Qualcomm 5G modem, the Oppo Find X2 Pro will also offer a 4,260 mAh battery that can be charged super fast with 65 watts.

The glass sandwich housing is said to be dust and waterproof in accordance with the IP68 standard and to provide a stereo speaker setup. Last but not least, the Leaker mentions an X-Axis linear vibration motor. It is currently not known whether wireless charging is also supported and only missing from the list. The specific optical camera specifications for focal lengths etc. are still missing, but it is certain that the Pro model uses periscope zoom optics, presumably 5x optics. By the way, some of this information has not yet been confirmed by other leaks.
