Realme C17: Inexpensive smartphone with 90Hz display presented
Realme today presented a new budget smartphone in Bangladesh, the C17, for the equivalent of 159 euros, which we will probably see on the shelves in this country soon. For this price you get a modern 90Hz display, a Snapdragon 460 and a 5000mAh battery.

With the Realme C11, a smartphone from the new C series is currently available in Europe for just 99 euros. With the C17, another, somewhat more expensive smartphone could soon come on the market, which has now been presented in Bangladesh for the equivalent of 159 euros. However, one can assume that the model will be a bit more expensive in this country.

For this price you get a 6.5 inch 90Hz display that has a resolution of 1600×720 pixels and a small round hole cutout on the top left. This means that the resolution is not particularly high compared to the competition, but the device could definitely appeal to some customers who value the higher refresh rate. The selfie camera has a resolution of 8 MP.

The manufacturer installs a quad camera setup and the fingerprint scanner on the back. The main sensor has a resolution of 13 MP, whereas the wide-angle camera has to make do with 8 MP as usual. The other two sensors are responsible for macro shots and black and white shots. Unfortunately, Realme continues to follow the trend of placing as many camera sensors as possible on the back, although fewer but higher quality sensors would often make more sense there.

The processor inside is the relatively new Snapdragon 460, which is supported by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The latter can be expanded using a microSD card. The battery has a proud capacity of 5000mAh and is charged with up to 18 watts via USB Type C. Android 10 is preinstalled as the operating system.

In summary, the Realme C17 is a very interesting smartphone that is particularly noticeable with its relatively powerful specifications and the 90 Hz panel. Only the somewhat low display resolution could deter some customers from buying.
