SE is Trendy: The Vivo V20 is now also available as a cheaper SE Variant

Vivo has presented another, high-quality mid-range smartphone that offers an FHD + AMOLED display with an integrated fingerprint sensor, a particularly slim housing and decent camera equipment for a price of less than 250 euros.

The Vivo V20 and V20 Pro were officially presented only a few days ago, but with the brand new V20 SE, the company now apparently wants to compete directly with the Oppo Reno4 SE. The device uses a 6.44-inch 1080p + AMOLED display with an integrated fingerprint sensor, which, like most of the competition, has a slightly thicker chin at the bottom.

A 32 megapixel selfie camera sits in a small notch, and a triple camera is on the back, led by a 48 MP wide-angle camera. There is also an 8 MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 2 MP depth camera. With a thickness of 7.83 millimeters and a weight of 171 grams, the case is quite compact, but to save costs it is almost entirely made of plastic.

A Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 works inside, with 8 GB of working memory and 128 GB of flash storage aside; the latter can be expanded via a micro-SD card reader. The 4,100 mAh battery can be charged via USB-C with a maximum of 33 watts, so that a charge of 62 percent can be achieved in half an hour.

Prices and availability:
The Vivo V20 SE is being offered in Malaysia at a price of 1,199 RM (approx. 247 euros), more information on prices and availability in the rest of the world is not yet available.
