Tomorrow Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 9 and the associated Pro model, a fleet of quad-cam cell phones, which is again likely to be very exciting value for money. The Pro model is already shown in official pictures in advance, and it is now clear that only this is also equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G SoC.

On the day before the official launch of the Redmi Note 9 duo in India, more and more images are appearing that confirm the concept, which has already been leaked in a conceptual image, with a square quad-cam on the back and a centered display hole on the front. In particular, a video from Vietnam provides some officially looking render images from different angles, for which we have also embedded some screenshots below.

While the specs for Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 9 Pro are already known, it was unclear until recently how the regular model will differ from the Pro version. Thanks to a few Geekbench leaks, it has emerged in the last few hours that Xiaomi definitely saves on the processor. Instead of the Snapdragon 720G from Qualcomm, the regular Redmi Note 9 instead appeared with a MediaTek SoC in the benchmark database, and discussions are currently underway as to whether the “ARM MT6769V / CZ” mentioned there is now a modified Helio P90, Helio P65 or a completely new one MediaTek SoC is.
