Xiaomi positions the Mi Watch in very direct competition to the Apple Watch but also cheaper alternatives such as the Samsung Galaxy Active 2 and relies on a Snapdragon Wear 3100. This brings four ARM Cortex A7 cores up to 1.2 GHz fast. The chip can use one gigabyte of RAM, and an eight gigabyte eMMC memory is installed for the operating system and user data.
A cellular modem is integrated as well as GPS, Glonass, BeiDou and NFC, the recording of sports is supported. A WiFi 802.11 b / g / n module is included.
Although the Mi Watch is theoretically – and practically self-importing – already available in Europe at this time, no information about the official availability in Europe was available yet.
